Exciting new ventures...

We are so happy to share with everyone...there is a brand new shop in Ocean Beach, Vintage Revivals. It is right there on Newport,where I have so many friends. Rebecca Russell and her husband Dan opened up in style this week and I have the cutest little "Cottage " room in there...it is much like what I have always done,with sweet vintage furnishings and of course, my delicious vintage linen jackets.

O.k....if that is not enough!!!! My very dear friends at the Attic in Coronado ( you know them)  Nancy, Jane and Kandi...well, they have so generously given  me an opportunity to join them inthe sweetest little shop in town. We will feature our garments.vintage jewelry and romantic furnishings there. As things are scheduled at this time, I will be in the shop (that's the one on Tenth) on Mondays and Thursdays. I would be thrilled to have you come by and of course you will want to visit the Orange Ave. location as well, both stores are adorable. I will try to post some photos soon . Another beautiful event in the Cottage in the Garden

We were blessed with the wonderful feelings of a very light summer for the two days, and the sweet smell of my roses. Each time there are vendors in the garden I experience  a deeper connection with each of the girls that participate there, and my life is richer for that. Sherry and Laurel showed incredible garden furnishings and a nice selection of vintage art... my old friend Dee Cook was here too. We shared many stories of our old days at The Corner Store and she sold grand pieces of architectural salvage. Jude came too... and of course I love all of her rose themed treasures.

Point Loma Garden Walk

We could not have ordered a more perfect day with sunshine and the beautiful ocean to soothe us. The gardens were so lovely and we saw so many friends. I was especially happy to have my niece Vanessa here to be with me and together with many well wishers for my precious Jerry.  He is just fine and getting a break from all my creative endeavors...it is so very good to have had so much support and concern..thank you all.

The Cottage in the Garden

You know your life is good when you have such beauty in your life--perfect weather and loving friends.The Cottage was over-flowing with blissful wares and an abundance of romantic furnishings and the garden filled with chatter and sweet energy.Vignettes designed and displayed as only these artists can do, a beautifulblend of old, vintage and creative works literally blooming in my yard. I love them all and our fabulous clients that visited and shopped. I am excited now to be preparing for the Point Loma Garden Walk April 23rd. and then off to the Vintage Market Place at the 'Oaks" June 3rd and 4th.  Also you can come visit me here at the Cottage every 3rd week-end.Thursday through Saturday, I will be bringing  in more plants and garden things...we can sit in the courtyard and watch the doves...till then,Shirleanne

Chateau de Fleurs Studio and Vintage Marketplace

I had such a great time at Chateau de Fleurs. Thank you to all my friends and customers for supporting me. Here are few photos of my booth.
